Our Impact

By fusing creativity with consciousness

ART WITH WELL-BEING

& EMBODIMENT WITH RESTORATIVE impact

we have created a tangible shift in how creatives and CONSUMERs gather, connect, collaborate, uplift their own communities, and make intentional choices in their daily lives, tending our shared PLANET.

Our holistic activation has invited thousands of people into immersive transformational spaces where they can explore & experience their own sense of purpose & belonging alongside our greatest possible COLLECTIVE capacity FOR POSITIVE, tangible SYSTEMs CHANGE.

THE COLLECTIVE BAE IS FISCALLY-SPONSORED AS A 501(C)3 CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION VIA ETINA - A FOUNDATION SUPPORTING ENVIRONMENTALISM THROUGH INSPIRATION & NON-VIOLENT ACTION.

ecosystem consciousness

Care for our planet is at the heart of what we do. Our Mother Earth teaches us intimately and relentlessly about the way unique ecosystems function and thrive together.

Our microcosmic organizational structure + experience design for hyper-local community is a living embodiments of the sustainability, reciprocity, and circularity we’re devoted to see at the macro level.

Our work is two-fold. We:

1. fortify earth/climate activists with holistic creative experiences that empowers their offerings on the ground - and vice versa;

2. awaken, activate, and enable highly-resourced change-makers to directly support these baes with their hands in the water and the soil.

translocality & diversity

BAE features music, art, and well-being practices inspired and informed by cultural traditions from around our Earth. Our focus on both local & international artists - and especially ancient & indigenous/traditional wisdoms is deepened through sound, ritual, and collective memory.

In creating multi-cultural experiences, we have collaborated with The New York Arabic Orchestra, NUBLU Jazz Club, Wonderwheel Recordings, and House of YES NYC among other renowned global music labels, venues, and creators.

social/healing justice

BAE is rooted in the empowerment of historically marginalized voices via Art Activism - the power of creativity to actively address and shift larger social systems towards equitable empowerment for ALL.

Whether it’s through open dialogue, intentional practice, or cultural experience, each offering is an invitation into imagining a deeply balanced world of abundant resource, resilience, and reciprocity.

The Collective BAE uniquely partners with impact organizations to co-create true (r)evolutionary spaces.

a BAE UPRISING

DIRECTLY FOLLOWING THE 2018 WOMEN'S MARCH ON NYC, THE COLLECTIVE BAE HELD SPACE FOR AN EMERGENT MOVEMENT OF GLOBAL PROPORTIONS with #BAEuprising: A Post-March Experience & Afterparty (produced with support from Offline Projects of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment)

We gathered & made clear our intention & work to inspire REAL change in our systems, industries & society through music, art, and dialogue.

BY GATHERING COMMUNITY LEADERS LIKE CONGRESSWOMAN Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (DEM-NY), ART ACTIVISTS (ARTIVISTS), & CHANGE-MAKERS ACROSS DISCIPLINES, BAE FUNCTIONED AS

A SAFE & GENERATIVE SPACE FOR OPEN DIALOGUE, GUIDED DISCUSSION AND REFLECTION

A CONNECTIVE WEB FOR MEANINGFUL NETWORKING & CO-CREATION

AND A REJUVENATING SHOWCASE & CELEBRATION OF FEMALE EXPRESSION.

BAE x IRL (In Real Life) is a multimedia exploration of the growth in the resistance amongst feminist communities since the caustic U.S Presidential election of 2016, made in collaboration with artivist filmmaker Alexandra Leinweber,

The video energizes real life events from 2016-2017 and reflects on the civil rights movements that laid the foundation for mobilization today.

A Movement is only composed of people moving.
To feel its warmth and motion around us is the ends as well as the means.”
— Gloria Steinem
